If you guys need rain just move to Alabama... we've had rain everyday for the last 2 months. Okay... maybe it skipped 2 days in those 2 months. It's been ridiculous.
I've had no choice but to cut with the ground wet. The only thing I don't like is having to clean out under the deck... when it's wet it sticks and builds up quicker. Of course you could run over a road of gravel/rocks and clean it out fairly quickly. )</font>

I've been waiting and waiting on SEVERAL projects for the rain to break enough, but I tell you what...at least it doesn't feel like the Sahara like it does some years.
As far as the dew goes with the bushhogging, I'd say that's just about the best time to cut unless it's extremely wet.
It's a little cooler and the Bahia cuts well wet. Broadleaf weedy grasses clump some, but it doesn't do any damage unless you leave it on and let moisture rust the underside of your hog for years on end.
Remember to keep your PTO shaft and gearbox lubed/greased to keep moisture out.
