Re: Bushy\'s 110

I had a commercial plowing business in Alaska for several years, and never used a cab. There were many long dark days, but I usually managed to stay comfortable. Of course my one peice 12 volt heated jumpsuit and mittens, with Bunny Boots and a full face snowmobile helmet made a big difference. A whole lot cheaper to.

bushy, I edited your post that had a wide signature (...Bushy....) so it didn't force all the posts in this thread to be more than one screen wide at 800x600 resolution.

Re: Bushy\'s 110

Howdy guys,
I finally got ahold of an IR rep yesterday concerning the Earthforce line being converted to IR/Bobcat. The dude was very nice and informative. I sounds like IR has made some very nice improvements to the machines. Glad I waited to give it a fair shake against the other two competetors. They said thay were starting shipments this week to IR dealers and you should be seeing the beige backhoes all over the place shortly. I am attaching a comparison spec sheet to make comnparisons between the JD110, Kubota L48, and the IR 370, the old 300 series. Hope you find this interesting.
Doug

Re: Bushy\'s 110

Howdy Doug. Your post about the Bobcat TLB was informative. The powers it has are truly great. Its major drawback is that it exceeds the weight rating that allows any driver in my state to move it from job to job with a class c license. By the time you add a few accesories like 4N1, a trailer, etc. your going to be way over the 10,000lb limit. The maximum speed is also one major drawback to some. I had considered the EF4 or 5 before I got my tractor. For general construction use where the operator has the correct licensing and trailer to move this tractor around, your not going to beat it, its awesome. Now, what do you know about the yet to be introduced Bobcat 5600? Rat...

Lamarbur: How much they want and what's on it? I real don't think anybody really cares that we are comparing notes. I believe we are doing just what they want us to do, talk it up! Bushy

Re: Bushy\'s 110

Laurin has finally updated their english site and posted 12 different pictures. Its under English, then click the JD tractor, or just click this link to jump to it.

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.laurin-inc.com/en/cab/menu1_en.htm>http://www.laurin-inc.com/en/cab/menu1_en.htm</A>

The link to get to the 110 and the specs page that shows the photo gallery is at the bottom of each page.

It looks very cool and well made. You'd think it was a factory CAB. Nice design to accomodate the hoe and still make it usable for just the 3-point hitch. I was wondering how they'd do that. Does anyone have something similar yet? I was wondering if it also dampens the engine noise too or is used strickly for keeping the elements out?

Re: Bushy\'s 110

I found a company, fremar.com that makes a soft cab for the 110. Has anyone ever bought a cab from them? They're located in New Jersey and only sell through tractor dealers. I will call a dealer to get a price. They look prety good to me. I'm just wondering about the quality and price. If anyone has an opportunity to check on a price please do so. I want to keep my dealer honest. They tend to be on the rich side with their aftermarket sales. Joe gives the buck a good home.
