You have a real piece of heaven there. I don't know if others were joking, however you could probably go into the rock business. The ones you have dug up so far are perfect for those dry walls.

Keep the pictures coming. Love to see the progress.:)

Ans.

File size vs. Pic Quality, especially with my crappy camera.

A JPG would be better quality and most likely smaller in filesize.

We finally opened up the camper this weekend and my wife started manureing her garden with the L39.

You guys who dig dirt not rocks have no idea. Your machines and your back have it so easy!

Thanks for the update!!!

Your collection of rocks is truly impressive. So is your progress. The place is really coming along nicely. Is that a pond that you are digging? or a quarry for more rocks? Either way, is that tree expected to survive?

Ok, I've had it. Many of you are uploading pictures and taking way to long to do it. And we (expecially those of us on satllite) have a hard time downloading them. So, do yourself a favor and well as us and resize the pictures before you upload them.
There are many programs to do it, but heres a quick way. Download this http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe
Then just right-click pictures and choose resize.

I am hereby the self appointed picture sizing police officer!

Eddie,

We are both Crazy. But your younger.
The 1/4 mile drive thru the wetland is finished, except for a bit of "restoration" to keep the state happy.

That quarry is a blasted trench for the basement frost wall and septic trench. I probably would have been better pouring direct on ledge. You need to go down 5' ft up here.

I will be building a lot of terraces and rock walls with the leftover spoils.

That 50' x 28 Ft equipment building is sitting on 15' of blast material removed from the basment and future driveway area.

The Pond will be in the back. see attached.

Mike,
Nice work with all the land scapes.
I also see a pond. I like all the rocks that you have. I don't have them and do enjoy the digging with out them but, they do look nice on the sides of a pond. NH that trout country.

Memorial day 2008

We are done last week with last of many times of Blasting work to clear last of ledge in way of Septic system.

We actually started putting in chrushed Stone to do this Pre-Cast foundation system for the house and garage.

Superior Walls by Setwright Precast - Precast Concrete Wall, Basement, Insulation Panel, Energy Efficient

Nice job, I had ledge too, spent a lot of money with the blaster. I told my wife he had to blast the hole for the mailbox. My wife put on a lot of hours on our machine,I traded it for a bigger machine ,you should of seen the look on the dealer's face, told him my 06 2310 had 500 hours, most homeowners do 50-100 hours a year. It's had a few oil changes and the recommended major services. plowking
