We use margarine for two reasons; it's cheap and it's spreadable.

But I do buy the Land O' Lakes butter to use in a number of recipes when cooking.

I just checked the ingredients of my Great Value butter from Walmart. The only ingredients are cream and salt.

USDA Certified Organic butter, especially in the spring and summer when the cows are pastured more.

We still have a family run dairy that sells their own products locally instead of selling the milk to a larger company. I just noticed they are selling European butter aka higher fat butter. We have bought their butter but I can't really tell the difference between it and Land O Lakes.

Now their whole milk is a different story! Its whole. Maybe past whole. I have seen cream on top!
