Another thing to keep in mind is that if something does break you can part them out and make a profit by selling stuff on ebay. Back in 86 I bought a Honda 250sx 3wheeler. It has been abused by all the various kids who have used it and can't tell you how many miles. But it still runs great. I finally gave it to my step brother as I'm trying to down size things that I really don't need (gave away 3 riding mowers and still have one more to go). Still running great.

I have a 2004 Honda Rincon that still runs like its new-only has 2,000 miles on it though. Just had to replce the battery last year and I started having carb issues because it sits way to long so i bought a new one on Amazon and plug n play installed it.

The Rubicon is a strong machine and is even more reliable than the Rincon. Sounds like you just need a shift lever adjustment-they are easily adjustable and part of user maintenance.

$1,000 is a pretty good price-I am asking $3,000 for mine (although it comes with a gun rack, moose cargo rac, 60 inch moose plow, 2500 warn winc, hitch, 40 gallon sprayer and a spare carb and winch.) Mine also needs new tires..

I definitely offer him a grand for it. We have two ranchers a 02 & 03. Both are great machines. I had a 86 trx 250 that finally died in 03 with about a billion Hard use miles on it so I壇 say your going to get a good deal.
