Sorry for the delayed reply. I have been busy with a new born daughter. Dealer dropped it off and explained more to the situation. I guess we all have family situations that affect our business or work life so I probably overreacted due to my excitement. I have been putting about 10 hours a week. Mostly on grading dirt for a new water line, mowing, moving wood from cutting trees, grading driveway, etc. It has been real rainy and so have not used the backhoe much. So far the following is my review. I will try and post a full review in the next couple of weeks.
Power: Excellent. Brakes loose traction on the tires when pushing a lot of dirt before bogging down. Does not bog down with wet really tall grass. Amazing the difference in this diesel compared to my "25 hp" residential zero turn.
Front loader: I have used the front loader even more than I thought i would so far. It is the DL95. Very impressive. With safety in mind, I do not think I would want a more powerful FEL on this size tractor. Very powerful realitive to the tractor size. Hydraulics work very quickly even at low rpm.
Backhoe: Like I said I have not used much. Will review when used more. It is the cb65 with 12 inch bucket. I will say, the couple hours I have used it I am impressed.
Mower deck: cuts great. I also find the height controls to be nice and work well. Mower is very smooth.
Pros: love the cruise control. Use much more than I thought I would. Tractor is relatively quite. More so than any gas mower I have had. Fuel efficiency is great. I have been using about a gallon every two hours. As mentioned good hydraulics. Never use this word, but for aesthetics, it is a gorgeous tractor.
Cons: I broke the light off. May have been driver error but went up against some brush and it came off. Not really a big deal though. It only came with one key. It would be nice to have two in case I have it on me and my wife needs to use it when I am not home. With ROPS down the top link on the 3pt hit the rops when putting at full height.
I was close to purchasing that Massey model with BH attachment seemed a better price and specs than the other new brands. The dealer offered to add beet juice to the tires at no charge plus delivery. Long story, but short version I went with a gray Yanmar and purchased a BH attachment, might have saved a few bucks but time will tell. Got an had buyers remorse in both decisions. So far I am pleased with the Yanmar. But that MF is a nice compact tractor.
