Buying a .44M, S&W 629 or Ruger Redhawk?

   / Buying a .44M, S&W 629 or Ruger Redhawk? #21
Since I was about 18? I wanted a 44mag mainly a ruger super redhawk and then they got real popular, my buddy bought one so feeling I had to be different I bought a 454 casull. At the time the only guns chambered in it were freedom arms $1300, magnum research bfr $800 and I think taurus was availble $650. I bought the BFR and love it. The recoil was slightly more than a 44mag but enuff to eat a Burris scope after 5 rounds. I replaced it with a Leopold which has survived. After six years I split the barrel length wise, sent it in and they gave me a new gun.

If Ruger had their 454 at the time I would have bought it.

Thanks guys, great feedback. My brother has the Ruger and a friend has the S&W. I'm going with the Ruger.
