Which dealer appears to be the most solid?
Are any of the dealers just 'tractor sellers'. I would not really want to buy a tractor from someone that is a dealer in name only and has no demonstrable history of experience in and support to the industry.
Which dealer appears to provide the best support in terms of service, parts counter, and responsiveness?
Which dealer treats you like a human being and is willing to spend time answering your questions?

Of the 3 tractors you list, I would rate them in exactly the order you list them. I absolutely love the Yanmar products, and the Massey is a quality choice too.

As others have mentioned, I would also give LS a test run. I have an older model, 9 years old, and it has been bulletproof so far. Cheaper to buy than the Case or New Holland, which they make some of the models in the sizes you are looking at.

The Shibaura engine in the Massey 1735M is not new. It has been in other lines of their tractor also. It is just new too that line of tractors.

I only have about 30hrs on it, all winter use plowing and bucket work. I really like it, It's a heavy tractor and I loaded the tires which adds another 1k lbs or so. I got the cab version and it just seemed a better fit and finish than some of the other tractors I sat in. I'll know more about it this summer after I get some implements to do some land scaping. The engine started every time no matter how cold it was outside. I didn't have to worry about getting it up to proper temps for regen on the really cold days, which is where some of the regen problems come from in the cold weather States.

Maine, curious if your 1735 is a Mitzubishi or Shibaura engine? Guess im not sure the 1735 came in a Mitz or not. Thanks!

The new ones are supposed to have the turbo shibaura.
