Buying a tractor - too many choices! Please point me in the right direction

How long would it take to deal to all the problem areas? Fast enough to make dry hiring an option if couldn't afford to buy a big enough one?

Is there a chemical spray that's useful?

Modified pallet forks (cut down and sharpened, possibly frame strengthened) with a single grapple/thumb on a tractor or skidsteer if the ground is soft enough and trees not too big perhaps?

For that acreage, you may benefit from a larger tractor. Weight is your best asset in a tractor, especially if you plan to move material. Check out the Kioti DK40 or other brand equivalents. You can find DK40s lightly used for 17-18k.

I have a DS3510, which is roughly the same weight and class you're looking at. Don't think I would ever use it to rebuild our 2000' driveway, though it would certainly be capable of maintaining it. The FEL capacities on the tractors in this class is a little underwhelming also.

Thanks again, all. I've been traveling. And thinking. I need to stick with a tractor for the long term as the implements are cheaper and I may end up with a couple of small food plots. For the remaining tasks, I'll work on them either through rental or hire out. I'll be making a decision in the next 30 days and will come back here with my impressions of whatever I buy.
