Ask for FaceTime videos, pictures, as much actual footage as you can get.

It seems to cheap to me. I would think to a Ford guy, that truck would be a holy grail and it would go for 2 or 3 times that, but you never know.

There isn’t a lot of desire for the 5.10 gear super duty’s which I personally like. They’ll only run about 55 mph but they pull good. Plus no bed isn’t helping the value.

This could also apply to buying a tractor, real estate, or (?)

Many of you tell of the deals which you find, yet all that I ever get is burned. So here's a truck which I would be interested in if it was on this half of the continent, or if my brother hadn't just moved back from Arizona last week.

1994 Ford F-45 7.3L Turbo Diesel (F35) 64k miles - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive sale

Any comments on how you would buy this from away?

You can fly from BOS to LAX round trip for under $400.
Jet Blue or Alaska.
One day LAX rental car.
One or two nights in a fleabag motel.
Food: Burger King/ IHOP.
For under $700 you can make your decision in person!

By the way: I have bought both a Suburban (AZ), and a Jeep (NJ) on E-Bay.
Both were as good or better than described.
In June, I bought (CL) my one owner 250 hour Kubota L48 TLB in Deer Isle, Maine.......32K, unseen by me.

If you really like it based on the ad, hire an impartial person do a survey of the vehicle. Find that person from yellow page ads in the area. That痴 how we buy and sell airplanes anyway.

In my area it's not cheap at all. Gotta bring $5K first.

Exceptionally low miles though. Beyond that, not much there.

I drove a couple of hours North of Deluth to buy a wood chipper which was a rare 3-ph model. I did have moments of anxiety, after having sent a deposit. I like that kind of adventure.

A friend bought a Gradall down in the states somewhere and drove it back to Canada. Now, that would be a slow drive.

I’d consider buying it if it was a local sale. My biggest gripe with the 90s F-450s is besides the logo on the grill is they have 16” wheels and they really need 19.5s.

I’ve had a bad CL experience buying used 3pt snow blower. A pig with lipstick. I only drove a couple hours to get it too.

I picked up a couple of those in my younger days also.
