Buying advice: Massey, TYM, or Kubota

There is opportunity cost. If I spend $10k more for a comparable JD or Kubota, Ive not spent $10k more… That $10k is worth $23k over the course of 10 years. So in 10 years, that tractor has actually cost me $23k more than the TYM for instance… so now does the “better resale” really make any difference?

I really don’t like the oddball hydrostatic foot control pedal Kubota uses so that and the high prices pretty quickly got them off my list.

Was interested in Massey but the dealer sure didn’t seem interested in selling me one.

TYM wasn’t even available when I was buying but I do like their tractors, even today they still don’t seem to have a dealer nearby so I most likely wouldn’t buy one. Having a good reliable dealer nearby is very important to me even though I mostly do my own work.

Wound up buying LS and now have 400 trouble free hours on it. My dealer is excellent if I have any questions he is always happy to answer them the best he can.
