I had contra for years. still have it in some small concentrations, be aware though contra is not a target date fund, and as such will have higher returns for "higher risk/ fluctuation"Kind of meh compared to Fidelity's Contra fund:

And keep in mind that American funds have rather high (5.5%) up front sales fees, Fidelity funds have none.
Fidelity even has some 0 fee funds, that I have my son in as well.
