bought mine new last summer. I was disappointed to note the boots on the tie rod ends were VERY weather checked or rotten - many cracks. Wrote this off mentally as it porbably wouldn't be worth the trip back to dealer. Then this past weekend, I had the mower deck off for the first time. While under the machine inspecting, I noticed the boot on the driveshaft to the pump (by the plastic cooling fan) was also VERY cracked.

Anyone else note these problems?

Other than THAT - the tractor is great - I only have about 40 hr on it so far - some bucket loader use but mostly mowing. What a nice little tractor!

The boots on my BX2360 were also dry rotted at 5 hrs. It was covered under warranty.

Mine are cracked too. I wrote down the dimensions to look for an upgrade but I have not had a chance to search for them yet.

Mine were cracked and dry rotted from day 1. On the list of things for dealer to take care of.

you'll find a few threads on this top around here. seems like a widespread materials failure from the manufacturer.
