Okay Gents (and the rest of you),
I just finished the 200hr maintenance on my BX. I have had my machine from new and it's been 15 months.
A few observations...
1. The inline fuel filters (especially the first one) needed replacement. Much smoother running under a load and on hills now. Going to put in a 'B' series filter soon and eliminate the hard to access first filter, especially if you have a skid plate covering.
2. The HydroStatic Transmission filter was much, much cleaner than the first check and clean at 50 hours... barely a recognizable metal shaving. That made me feel good.
3. Thought about replacing the HST fluid after removing the filter and seeing quite a bit of 'silver' in the filter oil that I drained to examine. Decided the filter was doing its job and I would save the money and environment on changing the fluid.
4. Noticed the boots on the steering linkage (on both sides) were worn bad and I picked up a couple of new ones at the dealer.

Other than those items and a bent parking brake mechanism, a few decals lifting, some paint scratches, broken zerk, and needing to add tubes to the front tires, it has been absolutely a joy to use and perfect for my needs. A true workhorse.
Curious as to other BX owners and the items you had to address at 200hr beyond the manufacturer's published maintenance schedule???
