BX 2200 FEL Hose Set Up??? HELP

HELP!!

My dealer installed the snowblower BUT failed to label the hoses for the FEL. Now it is time to use the FEL and I can not get the hoses hooked so the FEL works, so I need your help.

I have a 3 way valve on the BX with 5 outlets on valve one gets the feed from the tractor. The 4 hoses on the FEL are colored with tape with yellow, red, blue and white. On the loader it has 5 outlets, center for the feed, what color hoses go to each outlet on the tractor loader valve?

Looking at Husco Loader Valve I see the following:

1- Top Left
2 Top Right (Next to the tractor)
3- Bottom Left
4 Bottom Right (Next to the tractor)

Try looking in your loader manual for the correct hook-up /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.
Mine has color coded caps and you can't go wrong /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.

Tom,
As your standing in front of the tractor and facing the loader valve, try this. top left=yellow, top right=red, bottom left=white and bottom right=blue. Can't hurt.

There are supposed to be color coordinated caps on the hoses coming out of the valve that match up to the colored caps on the loader hoses to make this simple. If they are not there, go back to the dealer and ask him to get them for you. They came as part of the valve and should be there unless someone in the service department became too attached to them and substituted black ones. They cost about $2 each from www.tractorsmart.com and it is a worthwhile investment if the dealer won't put them on for you. I am going to order them for my snowblower also to match up colors. It is better than the small colored rings that Kubota uses on the snowblower hoses.

I had the same problem with mine when I tried to hook up the loader. Had to keep pushing the tractor forward until I could get the hoses connected. It is a pain. Next time, I am going to take the right hand stanchion with the valve off the tractor and hook it up directly to the loader and then attach the loader to the tractor. I love the BX22, but hate the design of the loader valve. I have done a lot of "prototype" design work to see if there is a way to keep the original valve on the tractor and remove the complete loader, like the newer models, but so far haven't been able to come up with a design that will use the existing hoses. If I make up new hoses for the valve, then it will work, but I am being "thrifty" in the design and trying to work with the existing parts. If all else fails, then I will go for the extra money and develop a new set of hoses to fit.

Better not try this alone. A lot of fun trying to hold the valve and put the pins in at the same time, you need 4 hands for this job. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

You mean that you don't have help from your kids????? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It is an awful job to put the loader back on when the right hand stanchion is on the tractor and the left hand stanchion is on the loader. I struggled with it for 1/2 hour yesterday and called that tractor every name that I could think of. Only when I threatened it with the thought of painting it New Holland blue, did it finally relent and go together. I guess that the BX felt that being New Holland Blue was about as bad a thing that can happen to any tractor..... except for a true blue New Holland.

Try this Tom. On the loader valve from top to bottom.

white
blue

yellow

This is the setup for a BX2230. Should be the same for the BX2200.
