Oil & Fuel BX-2200 Fuel Gauge Problem

My BX-2200 was delivered last evening before I came home from work and the first thing I noticed, before I started it, was that the fuel gauge did nothing when I turned the ignition switch to ON. I checked to make sure that the dealer had fueled it up ... the tank was fuel. The needle does not move from the lowest position below EMPTY. I know that some of the earlier BX-2200 had problems with the tank float but this appears to be a different problem. My Serial number is above the 59000 mark. I also checked under the dash to see if the gauge was connected and it appears that it is. Has anyone out there experienced the same problem.

Read the thread below about guage issues. Our new BX2200 with a over 6000 serial has guage problems...although the needle does move....A part is on order for us.

Geeze Ed, I feel bad that I get so many replies to my problems and you only get one. So here goes.
You are probably just imagining it!
Actually, I have been trying to call you to find out what the dealer said. Is he sending the mechanic out?? Post whats up so that you can be cool like me!!!!
