Thanks for the suggestions. I think it was the remnants of a stick blocking the rear pto safety switch. I pulled it out and that seems to have cured the problem. Of course it will probably rear itself again next time I mow. Thanks for the ideas.

The seat switch is nothing but a nuisance. I bypassed mine, and it made the tractor much more convenient to use.

Did have the same prob with my B2920, it was the safety switch underneath which is connected to the hydro pedals. The safety switch is thread adjustable. I fixed the problem, however I did the seat by-pass anyway as I sometimes stand or turn and you only have to lift up a little and the engine cuts out (PITA). Hope you got it solved:drink::drink:

"Somebody" should make a nice little harness w/ the perfect
plug ends and a switch deal so a guy can turn the seat switch on
and off at will. . .

Hi Artisan, yeah I'm a bit of a thread lurker not so much of a speaker. But enjoying all the info from this site, I'll be out tomorrow looking twice at my tractor after all the things I've read ! By the way ...good idea to have a switch instead for the seat safety switch by-pass . Cheers
