BX 23 Warranty Period Concern

How long of a guarantee did you get on your BX 23?

It's odd there is no mention of the warrant period in the BX 23 owners manual. I believe mine is two years. I'm going to call my dealer on Monday to make certain.

I don't belive the Kubota website lists the warrant period either. I may be wrong.

The warranty information on my BX came in a seperate booklet from the manual. It is amaller 6x9 in.

According to Kubota's web site, the BX22/23 has a 24 month warranty for homeowner use. For commercial use the warranty runs for 12 months.

BX, B & L series tractors, Powertrain 36 months or 2000 hrs, which ever comes 1st.

"Models that are considered mobile equipment (i.e. tractors) usually have two levels of warranty coverage. The BASIC warranty covers the entire unit, whereas the POWERTRAIN warranty covers only the driveline and engine components as specified on the following page."

As noted by Volfandt, the warranty information does state, BX , B, & L series tractors (24 MONTHS or 1500 HOURS (whichever occurs first) (powertrain – 36 months or 2000 hours, whichever occurs first.

However, Kubota's web site indicates that the BX22/23 is excluded from the warranty terms offered on the other BX, B & L series tractors. Stating, "does not include loader/landscaper or BX22/23, see above"

Sounds a little conflicting, I would contact your dealer to clarify the warranty terms.

<font color="red"> The problem that I ran into is </font> that Kubota has my BX23 listed/ regesteraed as only having a 12 month warranty for everything including the tractor and the drive train.
The 12 months have expired so basically I'm left without any warranty.

1*Here is how this works the webb site that you and I can access list the general warrant terms.
However it does not show the specific warranty registered for an individuals tractor in Kubotas and the dealers computer network.

This is how I found out the warranty stated on the Kubota site and the actual warranty specified by Kubota can differ from each other.
We have 2 different computer data bases here with conflicting information.
You fellows better be finding out what you really have for a warranty on your BX 23 Tractors.
Like me-It may not be what you think you have.
