BX 2350 is a plastic nightmare

I have a 2007 BX24... basically same tractor as yours.
I have some scuffs & scratches but nothing cracked or broken... have torn the lenses off the hazard flashers a few times by catching on brush, etc. but they didn't break.
I do keep my tractor in the barn... maybe continuous sun & weather exposure makes the plastic more brittle ?? I can't imagine what I would have to hit my tractor with to break the hood or fender.

I keep my tractor in a garage unless i am using it. On the rare occasion that I must leave it out side it is covered with a tarp when not in use.

Relating to uv damage to plastics... I have used an RV product called protect-all that keeps plastics looking new for a very long time. It protects from uv damage, and can be used on all surfaces.
My 20 year old truck plastic looks like the day it came off the assembly line. I used it on my previous L3410, but it was stored inside.

I would still have my 77 if it was a 4x4. I bought a 4x2 in San Diego and immediately moved to western Washington. I got to know a lot of folks when I asked them to pull me out.

Actually, I misspoke!
I gave my 1977 F-250 4x4 to my son in Atlanta 17 years ago.
In February he bought his wife a cute little (used) CLK 350, and the F-250 has been thrown out of his garage.
I asked him to give it back to me, so now I am trying to get a fair deal on shipping it to me in Massachusetts.
When it gets here I will put it on my trailer, and take it to Nova Scotia, where a friend will do some repairs, and re-paint.
Then it will come back here, and sit quietly in my barn until I croak!

I have a BX 24 , I have cracked fenders and patched them , I have scratches , i dont care . I use this little machine for work . Things happen . It still runs great

Mine a little beat up to. The tabs that hold the front plastic on are broken, the hood has a slight crack, and so does the rear fender. Do I think Kubota should fix it? No. Most of the stuff broken I did it. It didn't get broken sitting in the garage.

I guess I was lucky. I bought the 2009 model, when it turned into a BX25, and when all the parts turned into metal! I sure am glad I didn't buy a year earlier.

My 2003 BX2200 is all metal. I noticed the next model went to plastic and then they changed back to metal again. I would have never bought one if it was plastic. Same reason when I was looking for a larger tractor, I ruled out John Deere. Most of the JD in the size I was shopping for had plastic hoods.

I have an 2008 2350 with 500 hours on it it has always kept in a garage never in the rain. The bonnet holding tabs have both broken, the hood has cracked in a number of places. I agree that these parts should be made from metal. Plastic gets brittle over time. I take excellent car of my equipment and still have the problem.
