BX 2350

Hey folks:

Still trying to narrow my search for a subcompact down (Right now down to NH TZ22DA, JD2305, and BX2350) anybody have any experience with the 2350. Tried out a 2230 at the Kubota dealership and thought the 2350 was more comfortable. Any thoughts?

I have a BX23. As you know the newer model is the BX24. This is similar to the change of the BX2230 to B2350. I have looked at the BX24 at my dealer. There are some improvements but nothing drastic. I do not think you would notice any significant difference in their performance.

If I had to choose over a leftover BX23 over BX24 I would opt for the BX24 even if it cost 1 K more. I would prefer having the latest model and the small improvements even if the overall performance of the machines was essentially the same. The newer model may be easier to sell if you decide to upgrade in a year or two. Both tractors feel the same to me as far as comfort in the seat. I do like the newer HST pedal of the BX24 and perhaps it will not have the sticky problem on the prior BX models. My Bx23 still has some hst pedal stickyness to it even after a recent 50 hr service. I like the new curved FEL also and I think the newer models may have slightly more ground clearance because of bigger front tires.

To me, the Case and NH SubCompacts have lost their edge over Kubota now that the 2350 is out. I bought my Case for the features that it had that the BX2230 did not - if the BX2350 was available back in June of 2004, I would own a Kubota right now. Back then, the extra $400 for the Case was worth it, but the CNH prices have risen so high since then, that they are at least $1000 more expensive than the Kubotas, and Kubota has updated their features, ie. curved loader arms and slightly bigger 3ph.

The only problem I've seen with the Kubotas is the bees like the orange paint a LOT more than the red, blue or green paint. It's the #2 favorite color of bees behind yellow - no kidding, they've done studies.

Only on paper, as at the time, there were no GC's available to see in my area and the dealer that sold JD and MF, kept pushing the 2210 over the GC2300, so I quickly discounted MF.

Honestly, it was the better 3ph and the curved loader arms that sold me on the CNH product. I did see a GC2310 recently, and after having a bunch of seat time on a BX22, I was thoroughly unimpressed with the backhoe and operator station of the 2310.

With Kubota's BX's now having the curved loader arms, the larger operator station and various other upgrades, and the new curved backhoe dipper on the BX24, I think they've pretty much just kicked the crud out of all the Sub competion, especially when you consider they still have the lowest prices of all the subs.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the site, and now I have to buy my first riding mower. I bought a 3 acre lot and built a house, and am looking at the Kubota BX 2350 & John Deere 2305. There seems to be a big differance in price between the two. I am leaning towards the Kubota. Can anyone tell me their experiences with either brand and reliability issues. I just want to mow, and move snow so I am considering getting the front loader. I originally was looking at the Kubota GR2100, but both dealers talked me out of it because of the lack of the 3-point hitch, which would come in handy for other projects, and resale value.
Thanks in advance for helping me make this EXPENSIVE decision.

Bought my BX2200 in Oct. 2002 with 60"MMM. and loader and it had proven to be the best investment that I ever made. I have used the loader for all kinds of projects including moving snow. The diesel engine is very powerful, and cutting grass is a breese. You will be very happy if you choose the KUBOTA sub compact. If I'm not mistaken I believe Kubota is offering 0% financing for 1 year, and some other financing options right now.
