Was thinking, I have a Bx 2360 and was thinking of trading up to a Bx 2660 other than the seat is the 2660 that much more of a difference that you would notice the extra power?I will be mowing 95% of the time and after owning the 2360 for a year now I am well pleased with its performance , heck I mow at 2300 RPM and have no problems with grass not being cut .Just thought I would throw this out to the experts and see what ya'lls opinion would be on it .I still might see if a 2660 seat would fit on my 2360:)

Why not wait a few more months, until the BX70 series comes out? Supposed to be a lot of nice changes.

Wow I must be missing something! I've got a BX2660 and I'm not impressed with the seat, and would not spend $865 to replace it. There are numerous scorsese for high quality after market seats for tractors that would cost less than half the cost of a BX2660 seat. I know fist hand you need more than just the seat, to install a 2660 seat in your 2360, you will need all the parts that tip forward with the seat plus a six inch wire harness to connect the seat switch.

As far as the power, I mow with my sixty inch deck at 2800 rpm so only time I need the Xtra power is when I till in moister soil with my Woods tiller.

I was looking for a BX2360 when I got my fresh out of the crate BX2660 for nine hundred dollars less than the cheapest 2360 I could find.

The first dealer I went to told me they don't sell any 2360's because nobody wants them. The second dealer I went to told me they sell 10 2360's for every 1 2660 and that for the price difference (+$1100) a B-series would be a better choice. I bought the BX2360 and found that it has far more power than traction. If your just mowing the lawn buy a zero turn.

Or trade your BX2360 to Barlows for the F2680e ($18000 to $20000 new) 60" deck with 115 hours that I'm trading in next week and get a fantastic seat plus the finest mower made.:)

Well talked to salesman today and he can't get a seat through Wholegoods so I'm outta luck getting it cheaper.I am very happy with the Bx2360's performace just liked the seat on a 2660 better but i'm not paying that much for a seat so I will be happy with what I've got.Asked salesman about new Bx 70 series and he said they might be out next spring or possibly fall of 2013, asked was it gonna be a lot of new changes and how much better than the 60 series, he said was'nt that much difference but did'nt go into detail:cool2:

Yeah, I don't know if I believe what that salesman is telling you. I think he is just doing what salesmen do best, trying to make a sale. As far as changes to the BXxx70, I have no reliable source, just talk. But it would only make sense that it would compare to John Deeres 1026R series. At the very least I would like to see an auto connect deck.

I have a B26 and a JD X595 right now. Most of the big work that I needed the B26 for, is done. If the BXxx70 is nice enough, I may just get one, to replace both of mine.
