Every diesel has fuel injectors. I think this is a job for the dealer, in spite of the wait. Having said that, being told you have to wait 2-3 weeks for warranty work is poor service.

How long are you letting the glow plugs stay on before you start? Does it make a difference if you hold them for 4-6 seconds vs 1-2? Sure seems like a glow plug issue.

Whats your outside temp? If its cold out mine won't start very well without using the glow plugs. I try and start mine at about 1/4 throttle. If it runs fine once started I'd also say glow plugs, relay, wiring, something like that.

A long time, up to 10 seconds and doesn't make a difference. When new I let them heat for 4-5 seconds and it started no problem.

It started having this problem late summer when it was in the 70's-80's.

I'm suspecting the fuel pump now, fuel pressure to be specific.

Something is wrong. When it’s warmer out I still glow plug mine for just a few seconds but do not have to. I get people wondering about fuel quality but normally you would have problems with the tractor not running right under load.

Can you hear the fuel pump when you turn the key on...? Pressure & flow tested..??? Pinched fuel hose somewhere...???
How about the fuel cut off solenoid (attached to the injection pump), is it sticking closed briefly, or stuck partially closed...???
I dunno, i`m not there to see whats actually going on, just throwing some ideas out there.
