After I'm done installing my sprinkler system using my back hoe I plan to remove it and install my 3PH so I can run my King Kutter XB tiller. Is the 3PH hard to install? anything special I may need to know? special tools, etc.. Thanks in advance.

Not hard to do, just be sure to orient the lift arms correctly (they angle out) and have to be put on correctly (left and right sides).

Looking at your avatar, I think it will be very hard taking the backhoe off and replacing it with the three point and tiller. ;) And is that what the new BX25s look like? Welcome to the group.

Take Care,

thanks for the replies. Sadly I dont have the KX-91 digging monster anymore:( this crap economy slowed my business to a crawl and I had to sell it. was a sad day. the 3PH idea wouldent of worked anyway. :p

It's easy to install. The only thing that threw me for a loop was a shiny brass bracket. You only put that on, if you intend to attach the top link with no implement.

It's not that hard once you get the hang of it. If you run into any problems, be sure to let us know so we will be able to assist.

As I posted on another thread. Taking the back hoe off is a breeze. Installing the 3 pt is not a problem, BUT putting the back hoe back on was a two hour project. I had it on a BX expanded dolly and had to finally use two floor jacks to get it situated on the lower hinges . The rest was easy

Check 6. Why two hours? why didn't you use the out riggers?

I tried everything BUT you make a point I did not use the outriggers, I substituted floor jacks ...... oh well that is the price of having too many birthdays
