I must tell you that this isn't an original list, but one that I got off of another website. It is amazing the mud slinging that I read just to find these! It proves what happens to a forum when the members go from friendly joking to downright combattant status. My refering to it as "mud slinging" just doesn't reflect the true nature of the site that I visited. If it had a concrete cover, you could have called it a cesspool!

I knew that when I bought it. The thing that bothers me is that they couldn't get one manufacturer to build their product and then stick to it. I feel like Cub Cadet contracts out to the lowest bidder now. At least Kubota builds all of their own stuff.

RAT, you might not have noticed but the point of this thread is exactly that /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif--it has been going around and now Junkman has "Come Around". I will fly his wing anyday! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I realize you don't get it /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif and that is OK, but this is a Kubota Forum and I second Junkman---Kubota Bashing is not allowed /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif. Legitimate gripes, problems and talk about operating procedures are fine but threads about the BX being a lawnmower or having no point or the threads where JD/NH owners try to make themselves out to be more patriotic cuz there Japanese/foreign built tractor is more Amuikan than my Japanese foreign built tractor have outlived their welcome in my eyes /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif.
Yep, Rat, I know folks like to dish it out and the reason I get people going so much sometimes is cuz I can take and give it with the best of them, soooo, thanks for the warning, if the shoe fits you might want to try it on yourself /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif or what my ol' grandpaw said, what is good for the goose is good for the gander.
Oh, I know where the JD forum is, maybe a thread about "why Kubotas are better than JDs" is in order but to me that would be rediculous so I would not start such a thread, I realize these things are a huge investment and that regardless of "color" people want to take pride and enjoy their machine and the same is true here. What I am saying here is that many folks, some secretly, some vocal, don't appreciate such threads here in the Kubota forum either. Or, I will just speak for myself, I don't like it and such posts will probably result in discord /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif.

Maybe TBN needs a rubber lined "Brand Bashing Forum", then all the folks that like to bash each other and boast about whose imported tractor is the biggest, badest, most powerful, more better, most Amurikan can go down there. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif --not here. J

I think we're all to "blame" for brand bashing (before anybody gets bent, that was tongue-in-cheek). The one constant I see on TBN is that the vast majority of TBN'ers are infinitely pleased with their tractors. Why? Because we conducted extensive research before buying -- research that undoubtedly entailed tapping the massive amounts of info available on TBN, and this research in turn led to well educated tractor purchases. These tractors seem to largely fit the needs of each respective buyer. Its only natural to think, "mine's better" when your tractor meets your every need. We just seem to forget that one man's mighty BX is another man's lawn mower -- simply because of different individual needs. My hat's off to the massive bundle of knowledge and experience that is TBN!
