BX disconnected wire?

I've heard about that smoke theory. Story goes that all electric and electronic devices run on smoke, and that if the smoke escapes, they no longer work. I also understand that British cars require more smoke than other cars, especially the ones with Lucas parts (AKA Lucas Flash and flicker). /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Did you re-use the old smoke, or did you have them install new smoke. Sometimes the new smoke is not compatable with the old smoke so you have to purge the entire harness of all smoke and put in the new. (where I work, we used 1/4-20 fuses when we hafta do that)

A friend of mine used to have an old Fiat spyder with Lucas electrics. He always referred to Lucas as "The Prince of Darkness"/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Probably not a good name for a company that makes lights.

it seems like i remember a service bull. on this the bx engine is japan but the rest is usa the extra wire is for the tractor that go over there they have a low pressure switch on the hydro unit that the usa does not. therefore the extra wire.
