So if I just push full forward won't the loader just lift the tractor front? Is it possible I would have to push full forward, then a slight left forward adjustment? Thanks
Should be two positions on forward. At first stop is power down. Push farther and it goes into float. I should lock into float position and then you will need to pull back to get it out of float. This allows you to put it in float to push without holding the joystick while you operate.

What Dave said, you will go all the way forward until you meet resistance then put past the detent, you will feel it. I usually do it just before the bucket touches down, it won't free fall.
I had ask too since I just kept lifting the front end. Now I just do it quick and the loader doesn't move down much before the float kicks in. Once you find it it'll be real simple and natural.
