Can you guys tell me what parts you used for the "kit"? My dealer dropped off the parts tonight, but was upstairs and missed them to ask.

I recieved 3) 70000-70038 Mulch Blades, and a 70000-02507 Left Baffle Kit.

Is there more to it than that? Seems there should be a RH Baffle Kit" also? Or at least something to plug the opening? The Left kit had a note that the discharge chute needs to be on at all times. I was under the impression someone here took the chute off?

sounds like you're missing the base kit, part 70000-02505 for a whopping $223 (from tractorsmart)
I would love to know how this works for you, as I hate the side discharge and am not convinced the mulching kit will work when I try to take off 2"-3" at a time. the dealer has warned me against it.

Thanks! I just called and left the part number with my dealer. Ill let you know what they charge, and how the completed package works out. Hopefully it will work as planned!

Thank you for posting this info. I've had my BX22 with the mulch kit on my 60" MMM for 2 years and because of your pics, I realized they gave me the standard blades and not the mulching ones. I just picked up the mulchers yesterday so next spring I'll be able to offer some comparisons. Funny thing is, the thing still cuts pretty darn well with just the regular blades.
