I recall looking into the Chevron HST oil a few years back since it did meet Kubota SUDT spec's but could not find anywhere to buy it locally. Glad you have an option up there north of the boarder.

Thanks...how much difference in cost? getting ready to do my fluid changeout..

Had to source it out from Quebec, got a 5 Gal ship to my door for $105.00.

I was on the BX again for a few hours, the diff in the HST sound is amazing.
Another bonus in the switch, it's Red...make it easier to read on the dip stick.

It's all good...

So, Richard, are you saying that the Chevron oil is less noisy even than Kubota oil which is new, or just less noisy than the old (presumably dirty) Kubota oil that you changed out?

BTW, love the skid plates I bought for you for my BX25 - only problem is, my BXpanded.com rear trailer hitch no longer fits.

The Kubota oil, Premium UDT sounds like, but does not make it SUDT.
I've had ordered SUDT directly from the Dealer & they gave me this..that all they got...

Maybe so, but if you didn't know about it before, then it's "new" news to the receiving individual. Like, in this case, me... :)

Use the search function. Best tool on this site. THis has been posted a billion times. Jsut saying most users never use it, when 99% of the issues out here are old news (bx wise).

Anytime a topic is discussed on BX, and it may have ever been discussed in the past, you are sure to get a comment from sw03....

Don't worry about it, there's many of us newer users that end up inadvertently starting a thread that has been discussed before. And it can be quite informative for those that haven't seen the previous thread. Most folks are happy to give good advice anyway, or maybe provide links to past threads.

There was an interesting thread on MMM not going into Top position a while back. Even though it turned out it had been discussed prior, there was an interesting participant in that thread that apparently hadn't seen the prior thread and didn't use the search function....:D

I agree with you. Sometimes its nice just to read or get a little more up to date info, even if it is the same.

And do you have an issue with that? I will coment since I have seen many posts since 2002 on 99% of the subjects.

If that is the case, do a search and reply to the original thread (to keep it going). Just saying use the search function prior to posting a new thread. Most users will not since it takes times to do this.

YMMV
