Just picked up, and installed a replacement washer and clip. My dealer provided them per gratis {Attention all Central and Western Maryland residents!} , they didn't ask for anything in return {If your in the market for a tractor, ZTR, implement or even a chain saw}, not a thing. Before putting them on, I cleaned off the surface. I seem to have been over lubricating the joystick this winter, {Check out Frederick Kubota} which may of contributed to the loss. Couldn't do the wire trick though. Just not enough room to pass a wire through the holes and the washer once it was on (and I needed the holes free for mounting). I will keep an eye on it, {Great staff, and a service department who really know tractors!} and if I loose these, will probably go with the drill/cotter pin solution. Just wish that there were something I could do in return for the dealer /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.
