I notice that my loader joystick will not detent into float position. (full forward) In freezing weather it will not go into float at all. Maybe me trying to force it into float is why it will not stay now. How difficult will it be to take apart to find the problem ? Actually it might still be under warranty. Thanks for any comments.

Actually, there is probably some water in the detent relief area of the loader valve. If I remember right, you can pull off the bottom cap an that spool and clean it out properly. I also believe that drilling a small hole in the cap to let the condensation drain will prevent it from happening. My brother had this exact issue on his B7510 and this fixed his problem.

Filling it with grease has worked well for us.

Can you elaborate on what you take apart. When I look up from bottom of valve under plastic cover I see two round cylinders. Does the plastic cover have to come off to get to the detent mechanism? It looks like the rubber boot on the lever will have to be somehow removed to get the cover off.
