BX mower deck adjustment at end of range

Trying to adjust my mower deck on a newish BX2380. I've reviewed the forum and and think I know how to adjust it, but the adjustment bolt behind the left rear tire seems to not have enough length to it. It is bottomed out now and the deck is cutting too low based on the adjustment knob. It does seem a little odd that the adjustment bar has maybe 6 inches of travel, but the bolt is maybe 1 1/2 inches. So does anyone have a BX with the deck adjusted beyond the range of the end bolt? I'm wondering if there is something else off on mine.

IIRC I followed the owners' manual, using a ruler and making some notes. I probably spent a couple hours on my knees etc. From what i gather from your post, maybe the opposite side needs to let some slack out/ and or adjusted. Be sure that your end result allows the center front of the deck to be about 1/2 inch lower that the center rear.
