I just purchased a used 48" rotary cutter for my BX2200 and it handles it very well. It weighs approx 340lbs. The only modification I foresee is to lower the hitch pins about 5-6" and turn them inward so that I can get more lift height. At the hitch pins current setting, I can only lift the cutter to about 4-5" of ground clearance. I was able to hook up with the pins facing out with little problem but will turn them in to match the box blade and homemade receiver hitch. The spread from the end of one pin to the end of the other was approx. 32".
