What is it with that seat belt? I buckle it up and everything is Ok. Then after about 5-10 minutes of concentrating on the chores at hand I begin to feel like I sitting under the tractor not on top of it.
That seat belt could even keep Viagra down.
Is it my belt or are they all like that?
Any suggestions, my voice has gone up three octaves.
Some day I may want to have kids, na I'm already too old.
Please help.

Mine seems fine (BX1800) - only suggestion is a clip on the belt - sounds like it would be worth the trouble. Actually, I've been so thrilled by my tractor I'm not sure I would have noticed the belt tightening, and yes I do wear it when using the FEL

My seatbelt tends to tighten up on me after bouncing around on rough ground for a while. I stop once in a while and readjust it. Probably not the best solution.

I used to think the seat was uncomfortable on the BX -- but the seat is ok -- it is the tightening seat belt that eventually makes every bump a killer. I've gotten to the point where I undo the seat belt when mowing on rough but flatter terrain. I'm not recommending that approach. I don't like resorting to it -- but my body insists.

Well ... I have to admit that the seat belt certainly helps to remind you when it's time to go to the bathroom. It's the old inertia reel kicking in as you hit bumps. Ratcheting down on the lower abdomen ...

My solution (since I know my property well) is to only wear it where I know there are hidden bumps. When I am operating on rough ground I also am driving slowly.

I think that would be the official Kubota line ... try tackling it in 'Turtle' mode!

I too have definatly noticed the "Bota-constrictor"!
I have just been living with it. I guess a clip is the cheap and easy.

Ya when I am mowing Iam more worrried about the belt cutting me in half than rolling the tractor on my level ground

I only wear the belt when I might be in a position to roll over. I am just wondering and please do not get angry or anything but perhaps could we stand to loose a bit of weight?--around the middle? /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif . J

Where I come from, we call that ballast! (too poor to afford calcium)

Given time, the BX belt will displace the weight in the middle to the top and bottom! ;^)
Are all Kubota seat belts like this? Perhaps one from a different model could be mounted on the BX?
