Stopped by my dealer today to get some chain saw stuff and asked about the lack of blowers in the system. They mentioned a couple of things that sound like a catch 22.
Kubota does not want to inventory a lot of accessories and bases their needs on orders from the dealers. The dealers don't want to order too early or in too large a quantity because they have been burned when Kubota makes a change to the tractor design and then they are stuck with accessories that don't fit new tractors.
He said that the cab manufacturers are the same. Lead time on some of the cabs for the larger tractors can run nine weeks.
Also mentioned that they 10 blowers on order and 9 are sold. I don't know if they are all for BXs' or what.
