On the way home from work today I'll stop and get a plumber's chain wrench. If the chain links will fit between the filter and case that should do it.
I've had the deck on and off a couple of times already - I just put it back on for the mowing season. And since I just drained all my fluid out I don't want to use the hydraulics to move the deck up and down. Hydraulics and transmission use the same fluid right?
I'll let the forum know how the wrap up wrench or chain link wrench work - I bet I'm not the only one who ran into this with the factory installed filters.
