BX Warranty/Air Filter Bracket

I had the air filter bracket repaired under warranty and the dealer was excellent. No problem or hesitation on the repair. I was under the impression that it was a known problem that was automatically warrantied. Perhaps your dealer was just playing for time.

I have to pick up my new bracket this week. It's in.
Is the replacement bracket the same or has it been redesigned to address the breakage. I would hate to get the same part and just have it break again.

Mine looked like it had a larger bend radious to the strap. hasn't broken yet so they must have done something right.

Just snapped mine today. Started up the tractor to plow some snow...came out 10 minutes later to the tractor rattling and banging under the hood. At first I thought the engine had a major problem. Then I saw it was the bracket..whew!

A couple of zip-ties and I was back in business...
