Did you have the valve stems at 12 o'clock and push just a little air from the hose thru them and then depress the valve stem to see if air comes out or "goo"? If rimguard still comes out, then I would think that the tires might be a little overfilled with Rimguard.

Thats exactly what I did, and goo still came out. They were overfilled by a little bit I think or the rimguard was pooling over the valve stems.

You should also have it jacked up with all the weight off the tire when checking the rimguard.

just put the valves at 1200 purge a little air to clean out the valves and check .
Problem with tubes if you get a nail in the tire ,you just cant plug it,gotta take it all apart and patch.Ihave several plugs in mine over the years
Same way with my atvs,by installing a tube,there is no quick fix out in the woods,unless you rely on fix a flat which imho doesnt work.

This was a good one wasn't it? Who would have thunk it? "I have no rear wheel drive sometimes" Because my rims are spinning inside my tires... geez, had me going for a while.!

Well I will admit I never thought about the rim slipping inside the tire. But will definitely keep that in my thoughts in the future.

I had forgotten my BX23 occasionally did the same thing. I remember being horrified at the time. Apparently I suppressed that memory pretty well until now!
