BX1500 - any left new or now gone?

What do you think of your BX1500? Sounds like you got a good deal. Did you find it at a local dealer? Just trying to figure out how many of these are left out there - one local dealer says he has (4) new ones. None of the others within a couple hundred miles have them new, though.

last time I was there they has 2 news ones and 1 used one.
Don't know what prices they had on them then.

1*I thought it was a decent (but expensive) mower that would appeal to a lot of people but it must not have been selling that well I guess or Kubota simply did not want to keep an extra line open for a single model version with a smaller motor.

1*I found the JD x model Garden Tractors to be a lot pricer than the BX1500 Sub Compact.
BTW How's that new B 7800 doing by now?

I am still waiting on delivery as I ordered a FEL with it and the Kubota warehouse is apparently not shipping stuff to dealers or wasn't until recently. I should take delivery in the next couple of weeks as long as the FEL comes in to the dealer. I am looking forward to receiving it.

I still have my B3030 to play with (I mean work with

I purchased the BX1500 (and also my B3030) out of state. I live in Connecticut and none of the dealers in my area or NY/PA had any. I did find some at a Maine dealer and also at a Vermont dealer but I ended up going through Barlow in Kentucky. Even with shipping it is cheaper than purchasing it locally. Brady was also very good to deal with. I think he still has a used one with low hours and a new one without a mower in stock to.

That's great news - I'm really enjoying my BX1500. In fact, I'm pretty well convinced that my purchase altered the course of climate in the northeast, as we've had snow virtually every day since it arrived. Plowed three times with it already and another 'significant snow' expected tomorrow.

I, too, will likely go the route of a DR bagger - the company is located about 15 minutes away and every time I go there, I'm more and more impressed with the quality of the products. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. In fact, I consider their DR Field & Brush mower to be the very best tool that I've ever operated. If you're ever up this way - northwestern Vermont - you ought to stop into their facility, as they have a ton of gadgets as well.

Looking forward to pictures of the BX1500.
