Ryan:
I use my Bx 2200 to park my unloaded 9750 GVW 16' equipment trailer into it's spot in the woods. I had a friend weld up a 2" receiver hitch that slides onto the 3 pt. drawbar, with toplink attachment.
I drive the truck/trailer into my driveway (too busy a road to back into) and unload the tractor/implements.
I then disconnect the trailer from my truck, slide the hitch ball from the truck into the tractor set-up, move the truck, and hook up the tractor to the trailer.
The trailer is approx 2000 lbs empty, so I take it slow in low range/4wd and put it where i need to.
Since the hitch is on the 3 pt., after hook-up, I lower it which lowers the center of gravity.
The one caution with pulling off the drawbar is that you could flip the tractor over backwards, if you snagged the trailer on something, especially at high speed. Kubota reccomends only pulling from the bottom hitch plate.
The key is to go slow.
I would not do this on steep hills or drive the trailer down the road, but for the use you describe, this works weekly for me. This saves my lawn, especially when wet, and the trailer is much more manuverable that when hooked to my pick-up.
