Beefs not with me, I sent them!:D Contact your dealer and tell them what happened and to send you the two hats I sent that Barlows gave me on a purchase. Actually I think I got up to 6 or 8 hats on one purchase but after getting so many I only ask for 2 each of any new ones I don't already have for my Grands.
ENJOY and I'm sure you will!

Seriously, on the hats, my salesman was off last week when it was delivered so I think I got a bit shorted on the whole delivery process. When I started asking the driver about how to detach the BH, he sort of laughed and said "talk to your salesman." Guess they don't pay him to do delivery walk throughs. I'll be calling my guy probably Monday. Having already had a BX I wasn't looking for much hand holding, but I do want a new hat. :)

1st Tractor one hat. 2nd Tractor 2 hats. 3rd Tractor 3 hats. 4th Tractor 4 hats, you see what I'm saying? This is your second tractor so tell him your expecting two hats and will expect three on your next purchase.
Removing a BX24/BX25 Backhoe
This video makes it look really simple but I still haven't tried it. They also have the video of hooking it up.

Chris,

I got two hats when I bought mine from Bill and the delivery showed me how to remove 3pt attachments and MMM.

Who did you PO?

Actually, John, it's my third Kubota. Got a mulligan on the BX1850 due to the jerky stop coming out of reverse. Only cost me a few hundred to trade it for a BX1860 since Kubota let my dealer sell the BX1850 as new with 0% financing. So, per your math, I'm short 4 hats. :(

Kevin, not sure what PO is, but my salesman was Bill also but he was on vacation last week. Delivery guy was Jim, I believe. You probably got two hats for you and your wife if she went shopping with you. My wife was not interested in going tractor shopping with me and I don't think that would have been a good idea anyway :D

Did you get the beige hats with a pic of a Kubota tractor and that says "Kahn Tractor" on it? Wondering if they have any other versions?? I hope so since I have that hat already.

...not sure what PO is...

Well, it is NOT Purchase Order or Post Office!! Hint: to make someone mad; reference to a body function involving excretion of a liquid the color of a buttercup.

I got a hat. When a different Kubota dealer installed the Woods bh, the delivery guy gave a full tutoral on operation, removal, and reattachment.

Yeah, Kevin splained it in a PM. I actually misread it for some reason and thought he asked "who was your PO".

And who needs a full tutorial when there's such great videos on the web. Actually, I did watch the BXpanded version a few times since I was using his dolly. Any tricks on getting the 3-point on and off? I'll need to get proficient on that maneuver as I do plan to use the 3PH quite a bit.

Chris,

My wife had no intrest in buying the tractor with me. In her version of the story, I kidnapped her on the way to the Christmas Tree Farm. In my version of the story, I said "Let's order the tractor" and she never said "NO". After purchasing Jinny we continued up to Allen Hill Tree Farm :)

Below is a pic of one of my two hats. The other one has grease, oil and diesel stains. It was a good weekend :) Oh yeah dont hold your breath. I am guessing this is the same hat you got a fwe years back.

Are you prepared for the next big snow? They are talking 12-18" in our parts :)

Kevin - same hat. Probably the only one they have. Too bad. Guess I'll take another vs nothing.

Funny how such purchase decisions get made or "communicated". In my case, we have some trees I planted maybe 15 years ago that neither of us really like and she's wanted me to replace them with something nicer for years, but I told I'm too old to dig out the old ones by hand and replace them - trunks are maybe 6"-8" now. So I said to her a few months back, "Tell you what, let me get the backhoe for my tractor and I'll replace those trees" and she said "you're just going to do whatever you want anyway." Sounded like an OK to me

This storm is going to challenge my snow weapons, being plows. Suppose to start after midnight so my first cut at it will be early AM Wednesday - hopefully we don't have more than 8" on the ground at that point. With your rear blower, you could wait if you want for the storm to end, then take care of it. Think I'll pick up some diesel today so I'm ready. Should be a lot of fun, I mean work.
