When my BX22 was new when you let off the gas it stopped on a dime. Now when you let off it doesn't. It also creeps slowly when sitting with the engine idling. How hard is this to adjust?

Theres an adjustment proceedure for adjusting the HST neutral spring in the owners manual.
It's on pg 72 of my BX23 manual.
My BX23 wil creep intermittently so I usually just set the parking brake anytime I sit still in gear for any amount of time.
I plan on adjusting the neutral spring on it one of these days :D

My BX 22 used to do the same thing if I didn't operate it for awhille.

I would just stomp on the boomerang a few times and it would quit. There is a greese fitting on the side of the pedal also.

My BX2350 does the same thing. My dealer said it would "work out" of it after it ws broke in. Never really bothered me.

Thanks,

It's dangerous if it creeps. Adjustment isn't hard - just follow the directions in your manual. My BX24 just had it done under warranty w/ the 50 hr service.

I had the same problem, adjusting the spring did not do the job to fix it. My dealer faxed me the instructions as to how to adjust the creep and it works well now after adjustment. It is fairly simple to do but you do need the instructions to do the job.
I think it is dangerous not to fix it since the tractor will move forward on its own.

My BX1800 does the same thing. I've greased the HST pedal fitting, took the tire off and cleaned the bushings....which worked a little better, but it still creeps unless I tap the pedal a few times to get it stopped. I just set the parking brake now, but wonder if that creates an issue if it's trying to move forward against the resistance of the brake, so I'm now putting the range lever in neutral? My manual is very helpful under the "Adjusting HST Neutral Spring"......it says, "Consult your loal (their spelling of local) Kubota Dealer for service." I'm sure the adjustment is fairly simple, but if someone could share the particulars, I'd appreciate it. Dyer, retired

ANY chance you could scan or take a photo and upload those instructions.
