BX22 Headlight Question

Hello,

I am having trouble replacing my bx22 headlight bulb. I have called dealers and they tell me the bulb is no longer available because they would break during shipping. Kubota suggests I have to replace whole lamp assembly. It does not make sense they would use a bulb that is only used in 70 era VW's and is not readily available in the US. I found the bulb online at donsbulbs.com for 18 plus shipping. If anybody has any ideas were to find a bulb locally let me know.

Do a google search and find some V.W forums and ask them what they use, or find a junkyard that specializes in VW's and find a couple of used ones.

Thanks for the reply, I just think it bit odd for Kubota not to have parts for a 4 year old tractor.
