Hello,
I'm thinking about trading-in or selling my BX2200 for a BX23; however, it's not clear to me at all whether or not my 60" mower (the Kubota model for it is something like BX27??) would fit the new BX23. Anybody know what the scoop on this is?
TIA!
The 60"MMM that you would have on your 2200 is a RCK60B-22BX.
According to the implement chart on the Kubota web site for the BX23, the mower is the exact same model.
The mower itself should work fine, as long as there is not some minor difference in the mounts- the BX23 does use a different model FEL.
They are the same and there will be no difference in performance or installation. Just check to see if there are any mountings on the old tractor that need to be switched over to the new. I don't know what the dealers do as far as set up is concerned. I assume that the front mounting bracket that holds up the MMM deck front bracket comes with all BX as standard equipment, but can't say that with any authority. I would suggest that you bring the old mower deck to have the dealer do the initial set up and get it aligned properly for the new tractor. He should include this in the purchase price if you ask beforehand.
When I traded in my BX2200 for the BX22, I kept the 60" MMM...there was no reason to buy a new mower deck. I did have to make some slight adjustments to the mounts to insure the deck cleared the bar tires when the MMM is raised fully, but that's just a normal adjustment. Your existing mower should fit fine.
Hi JM
Is it possible to obtain the vendor you used to purchase your Kubota. I contacted a Kubuto dealer in my area and still have not received the quote after a 2nd call. MANY THANKS
