BX2200 lift capacity

How much weight have Some of You Fellas had on the 3ph of Your 2200's?

I haven't used that much on mine and wondered just how much had been used on one.

I had about 700 pounds on my carry all a few weeks ago hauling drywall. I stacked the drywall on edge to keep the weight close to the tractor. Drywall is about 60 pounds per sheet and I suspect the carry all weighs about 100 pounds.

I've had 20 bags of compost, nominally 40lb each, on my carry all. The load was spread out on a pallet about 3' behind the lift point. All told, should have weighed 850-900lb (I had 9 bags in the loader for counterweight). This is way over the spec, which I believe is 640lb at 2ft behind lift point. I didn't have to move it far (300').

when loading I would have the 3pt on the ground. If it won't pick the load - Loading with the 3pt up and putting weight in the loader is a lot to ask of the few bolts that hold the tranny together.

I guess I should have said that I loaded the carryall while it was on the ground, then raised it. As you said, I figured if it could lift it up, it could probably carry it, at least on smooth, flat road with no bumps.

I've never loaded up the 3pt, but I did lift over 700 pounds in the FEL from the ground to full height without any problems. I had the back weighted down, of course. Didn't seem to even struggle with it....
