BX2200 Remote Hydraulics

Anyone bought one of the factory remote hydraulic kits yet for the BX2200? I asked my dealer about it and he didn't even stutter when he said $400!

Does the factory unit make use of the extra slot on the right console and place a remote handle there? Does it just T into the loader hoses? I'd prefer it to T into the rear somewhere as that would seem to add a lot of hoses around the loader AND lead to eventually leaking a lot, as most loaders do over time that I've seen.

I've read the posts here about adding your own and they look good (and cheaper). From what I can tell though, adding the kit via parts listed on TBN doesn't get your remote handle on the console, but attaches to the ROPS or something.
Do I have this right?

Can someone post photos of both the kit installed (listed in TBN) and the factory kit, so we can compare.

The factory kit mounts to the ROPS. It comes as a valve and mounting U bolts and a hose kit.

Only overseas is the fender slot used /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Well considering the kit includes a valve with the necessary hoses and mounting bracket that price is pretty good. The parts to add the BX22 rear hydraulics comes to about $160.00 and this is without a remote valve. A valve runs anywhere from $90.00 - $150.00, then add in the hoses and fittings and you're close to $400.00. You can do a search on my user name to find my original parts listing & diagrams for the BX22 pieces in case you want to go that route.
