First off let me preface this by saying the running hot was a chronic prob for me over the 10 years i owned my bx2200 and w/o the advice of the folks on this list I cracked a head gasket so I am trying to use the list to do a better job of maintenance avoiding problems with my new Kubota. The radiator screens are placed where they quickly clog if you use the belly mower with a mulching kit. That was the biggest problem. Somewhere around 400-450 hours replaced water pump and that made a huge difference but even after fixing that it still went thru a lot of coolant
I rarely had trouble with the lawn or using the loader or other attachments but it always seemed a little under powered to cut the higher grass in the pasture
