BX2200 trade-in for BX22

I'm seriously considering trading my BX2200 in on a shiny new BX22. My dealer has two of them sitting on the lot and gave me a price of 14,500. He wouldn't even give me a ballpark on trade-in value without seeing it, so he will be dropping by next week some time to check it out.

Has anyone else done this? I bought the BX2200 10 months ago. It has a 211 FEL, grill guard, and filled bar tires. No mid-mount mower. The FEL bucket is pretty well scratched up, and the brace behind the seat where the top-link is held is also scratched up, but other than that, it's in good shape. It has 102 hours. I did the 50hr service myself, haven't done 100hr yet (don't want to bother if I'm trading it in).

I know it can vary by region, but does anybody have a ballpark what I should expect for trade-in?

For $23,500 in Mansfield Oh.

That seems like an awful much plus the BX2200's frame isn't supported like the BX22's is. I wouldn't connect a backhoe to the BX2200.

Yikes /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I could buy a BX22 and a BX1800 for that (almost). I'd be curious what backhoe it had with it. I thought about going the CadPlans route with the tow-behind, but my fabricating skills aren't up to the task.

Why trade up to a BX22? Get out of the BX's and get a tractor.I have a BX1800 and love it,for what it is made for.I also have a 2120 Ford 40hp and love that one too.Like it is said here,"What's another $2000 dollars over 10 years?"I would hate to have just the BX.I would trade up to something with more weight and power,if money wiil let you.

New sticker price difference for the BX2200 w/loader and BX22 is around 5-6K. So, expect that plus depreciation of your BX2200.
