Re: BX2230 and the Pat\'s Easy Change System

Yep that's them.

Search in the Bota forums for stabilizer bars. As I recall, it was about $70. I ordered through tractor smart.

Links here describe in detail how to mod them to fit. It requires that you cut about one inch out of one side of each tube, to allow the arm to fit.

You can use some of the pins from your original setup to attach. I bought some ball detent 3/8" pins for the adjustment holes. Works slick.

Attached is a pic of mine.

Re: BX2230 and the Pat\'s Easy Change System

I just ordered them from Tractor Smart, 59.60 shipped to me.

I will post the photos when I get them done. I am looking forward to my implements running true and not being loose as a goose.

Hey Danny,
Now you'll have the neatest setup any of us have come up with when you get the stabilizers installed, I got those before I got the quick hitch. When you get them installed, you can sell the spreader bar on E-Bay. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif here's a pic of the stabilizers when i first installed them

Don't be suprised if you go out some morning and find that your bx has these.

Re: BX2230 and the Pat\'s Easy Change System

StevenW,

I don't have Pat's, but I do have the bagger for my BX1800 and I don't think it will work with Pats as it has a fixed length bar that mounts to the frame where the top link normally goes. Once Pats has the bottom out further, I think you won't be able to attach the top portion. Let me know if this proves to be wrong, because that is one of the main reasons I have decided against a quick hitch or Pat's.

Re: BX2230 and the Pat\'s Easy Change System

That is a good point /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif…It may make the top of the bagging system just lean in…not sure. I’ll let the forum know when I install it.

Re: BX2230 and the Pat\'s Easy Change System

Danny,
The only thing that isn't just bolt on, is the end of the tube section, see circle on attachment. I put the tube in a vise and used a small angle grinder to cut the slot in the side of the tube, don't slot the wrong end of the tube like I did on one of them.
