I've not tried this, but I think instead of undoing the lift arms to attach them to fixed points while you mowed, (and if I needed to keep the arms up), I'd try running a bungee cord or two between the two attach points, and under the arms. That would be a lot faster than undoing the link arms. Or even use a light chain or rope.
Now this would only work if you didn't have anything mounted on the 3 pt...................

That was what I was posting about. I tried to tie them up, then the deck was unlevel at the cut position.
Taking them loose and hanging them on the hooks is the reason they are there. This gets them high enough and lets the actual lifters work with the deck
Thanks, I found the tabs, now I know what they are for. I got the bars today, will be putting them on tomorrow after my trip to a local auction that has some interesting items in the implement line. Your photos of the arms were very helpful. Now I know how to do that too!
