I read an article on this site about an 3pt hitch attachment that would increase the lift height of the 3pt hitch attachments on the BX23. Has anyone tried one of these attachments and where did you purchase it from. Thank from
New Hampshire.
I've done this myself on my BX2200 and it made a world of difference. I drilled the new hole about 1.25 inches higher in the lift rod end, if I remember correctly. I did not drill any new holes in the lower arms...
Take a look at that thread, it might be helpful... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
you know the adjustable arm on the right side to level your attachment. They are only $25. I bought one and put it on the left side and I got a lot by adjusting them both up
That is a great idea! I've been wrapped up in adding two tilt cylinders to my b2910, so I would not have to sacrifice any lift ability with installation of T&T, but it never occured to me to do what you have suggested on the BX!!!
Great idea, since the BX 3PH goes down lower than it probably ever would have to, but needs more height when up.
And you get more tilt capability to boot, if you ever need it, since "full stroke" of that threaded lift rod would be available in each direction.
I'm going to follow in your footsteps on this one... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I just added the "Pat's" system to my BX this past weekend. Awesome and worthwhile system and it adds 3 inches to the length of the 3pt and a resulting higher lift.
